[VIDEO] Trailer for Daniel Day Lewis’s Last Movie “Phantom Thread”
Daniel Day Lewis, the Wayne Gretzky of acting, is retiring. Ol’ boy woke up and said “I’m done with AAAAAAAAAACTIIIIIIIIIING!!!” This isn’t the first time Danny chucked some deuces up to acting.
“After doing a couple of films in 1996 and 1997, Daniel Day-Lewis, the Oscar-winning actor, disappeared from public view for almost five years.
It was during this self-imposed exile that he reportedly took up a new passion: to learn the art of shoemaking.
The story goes that the then 42-year-old took a summer vacation from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to become an ‘ordinary mortal’ and get down and dirty in an Italian cobbler’s shop in Florence.”
Danny-boy’s tuggin his ear and riding off, into the sunset after this movie “Phantom Thread.” I gotta say, way to end with a bang Danno. Shit, I mean, nothing says “I used to make shoes,” like this trailer. I think I’d rather watch Daniel Day Lewis walk into a spider web and spend most of the movie peeling web off his face. You can call it “Phantom Web.” Boo… That one is for Jay, Sean and Chip.
