This story was originally posted on Podaholics on December 2, 2013. It still holds up as one of the best twitter wars we’ve seen with so many twists and turns we couldn’t really believe how it worked out. And then there was even more! After you finish this throwback, make sure you finish checking out how it REALLY ends.

**Newest update: After reading this article, click here to see the follow-up to this story. Another surprise ending!

*Update: There’s an update to this story at the bottom of the page. I won’t spoil it here, so wait til the end.

This is THE best Twitter war to ever break out on the social media site. If you follow comedian Kyle Kinane (@kylekinane), then you saw this go down. If not, read every post below. You’ll never guess how this ends up. We’ll give you one hint; Pace Picante suspended their Twitter account when it was all said and done.

Enjoy!

It begins as Pace Picante favorited a tweet Kinane made back in January of this year.

He figures out it’s obviously a robot favoriting every tweet. So, he ups his game.

Still, nothing but favorites!

Then Pace catches on to the tweets.

Then it starts to get super weird. Kinane receives a message directly from Pace.

Then it gets all legal.

Miles comes on and makes nice again.

Kinane extends an olive branch

Then, when it seemed everything was working out, this happened.

Miles gets fired?

Someone claiming to be Miles tweets Kinane from his personal account.

Then Pace tweets out the following:

And then they delete their Twitter account.

And now this episode will forever be remembered, throughout history, on Pace’s Wiki page.

UPDATE: The Wikipedia entry on the Pace Foods page has been updated with additional info. We’ve copied the text here in full incase the update is removed.

“Picante-Kinane Feud”
On December 1st, 2013, a man named Miles Picante, an employee at Pace Foods, had a Twitter altercation with Kyle Kinane, resulting in his loss of employment, Sharon taking over the situation, and the mysterious disappearances of both Miles and Eric. In an attempt to make amends, Kinane began a Twitter hashtag, “BringBackMiles”, in an attempt to have Pace rehire Miles Picante.

The altercation began as a way of showing that Pace Food’s Twitter account would favorite any tweet that mentioned Pace. After several tweets that were clearly negative in nature were favorited by Pace, they acknowledged the error and began negotiations with Kyle Kinane via Miles and Eric. Sharon, a Pace employee who stepped in for the relieved Miles, took over negotiations and even tried to impersonate Eric. Kyle, suspicious that something bad happened to Miles and Eric, initially refused to negotiate until the whereabouts of Eric and Miles was determined. Kyle demanded that he be shown that Miles and Eric were alive and well.

The wicked Sharon had sent poor, innocent, Miles home early, and put Eric in “time-out”. She took over their computer, and tried to fool Kyle into thinking she was Eric. By mistake, she spelled his name “Erik”, a fatal flaw. Kyle saw through the facade, and called her out.

Outraged, the witch found twitter, and made a fake Miles account, and made it seem like he had hacked Pace’s account. The fool was found out, and a new hashtag emerged: “FireSharon”. Eric saved the day, and wrote that all was well, in the Picante family. Miles would come back the next day, Sharon would be fired, and the Pace account would go into a short hiatus.”
